How to Link Aadhaar with Mobile Number Via IVR System

Have you linked your Aadhar card with mobile? If not you have to do it before March-31. As per the Government directive, verifying your mobile number with Aadhaar before 31-March-2018 is mandatory for all existing customers. Many of the telecom operators like Airtel, Vodafone and Idea are providing a toll free number 14546 to verify your Aadhar. Let see what steps you have to follow to use this service.

Step 1

Call 14546 toll free number. And follow the IVR instructions.

Step 2

IVR system ask you to press 1 for Indian citizen or Press 2 for foreign national.

Step 3

Then caller asked to enter his or her 12-digit Aadhaar number. After entering your Aadhar number it will repeat the number, confirm it by pressing 1 if it is correct or else press 2.

Step 4

Now caller will get an OTP to the registered mobile number. The IVR system asks the caller to give details to the telecom operator to pick name, photo and date of birth from the Aadhar database. After that enter the 6-digit OTP that you received. After that press 1 for Aadhaar-mobile number re-verification process.

That’s all from your side. You will get a confirmation message after 48 hours if your details are are matching with database. If your Aadhar belongs to different state than your mobile number, you need to contact your telecom operator store.
